New Bar and Grill near Red River Gorge. Great food, we love the outdoor deck with plenty of room for everybody. Kim the Manager makes sure we are always taken care of. Staff is always friendly. Fresh made to order food, always hot and delicious. Awesome place to eat and enjoy a drink if you like, great bar, live local musicians on certain nights add to the atmosphere.

Stopped by on a trip in Kentucky, very good looking bar and grill to stop by. Had the double smash burger with the wife. It was really good to eat. It set the standard for burgers in Kentucky!

Had the pleasure of dining at Toad's while at 4GuysRV. Paige was our bartender- she is outstanding! Made us feel right at home, excellent suggestions and service. Mexican Cigar appetizer is so good- unique, delish! Definitely give it a try if it's in your wheelhouse. Cheesesteak was fresh, tender and also very good. For being open 3 weeks we were very impressed. Beautiful inside dining and outside is lighted up like a fairy tale. Five out of Five on food and service.

Nestled in the Four Guys Campgroud is a new restaurant and bar to the Red River Gorge. When you arrive at the narrow bridge leading to the restaurant, you may think you made a wrong turn. Head up the road, past a house, and up to the parking lot. There is an upper parking lot if the lower one is full. Venture forth down the slight decline from the parking lot and into a very open floor plan barn style restaurant. You will step up to a window couter inside the first part of the building. Once you order, they give you a number, and you then go to find your seat. There are plenty of seating options. There are inside, outside, and bar seating. The bar has a small inside stage for live music. You order your drinks separately from the bar. No conventional table service. But I actually prefer this for this style of place. The staff is friendly, but you can tell the place is new and just getting comfortable in its own skin. Our first meal there started out with an appetizer called Mexican Cigars. These were very good and unique. They consist of spicy cream cheese wrapped in a spring roll wrapper and accompanied with honey Sriracha sauce. My wife had a peach margarita with a sugar-coated cup rim. These are not your cheaply made wine margaritas. They are made with tequila. I had a Country Boy draft, which is always a solid choice. For those unfamiliar, Country Boy is a central Kentucky brewery. When dinner arrived, we were pleasantly surprised with the quantity of food. Not over flowing with portions, but plenty enough to fill our bellies. We decided to try a few things since this was our first time here. We had burnt turkey ends with Mac and cheese, the Smashburger and fries, and finally, the Korean chicken Philly. The Smashburger was really good and had plenty of flavor. The fries with the meals were good as well. The burnt turkey ends were my favorite. No sauce, just awesome goodness. All killer, no filler. The Mac and cheese side was your standard fair. Nothing earth shattering, but solid. The Korean chicken Philly was the meal I was most looking forward to. While a really good quality chicken Philly, there was no Korean flare to be found. That was a bummer. Maybe they left something out? I can't be sure. But all of the food was at a minimum solid, and then we had a couple of real standouts! We ended up going back out there again two nights later. This is easily accomplished as we are local to the area. We really like the atmosphere and decided we deserved a drink and appetizers for all of the slaving away we did around the house. When we walked in, the good smells turned our drinks and appetizers into meals as well. We tried the spicy guacamole and chips, gouda Mac and cheese bites, Philly cheese steak and fries, and the Mahi-Mahi bites with fries. Of course we couldn't forget the drinks as we prepared to Gorge ourselves once again. Don't judge me, it was for science. Or something like that. My wife decided to try the Pina colada margarita, and I had a Country Boy beer again. My wife really enjoyed the Pina colada margaritas. Now for our second go at the food. The spicy guacamole is really good and had plenty of flavor. Not real spicy. Which is a good thing. The fried gouda Mac and cheese bites were the standouts on this trip in. Highly recommended. The Philly cheese steak was a very good version of a great classic. The Mahi-Mahi bites were of good quality. But to me, they missed something. Maybe a sauce or seasoning. But all of the food has been great quality. If you pick an inside seat of a properly positioned outside seat you would never know the restaurant was in a campground. This is a really good place and it has just opened up, so we are expecting even better things for their future. Well done, Toad's! We will be back soon! It's nice to have a good restaurant like this near home. Give it a try, I believe you will enjoy it!

This place is EXCELLENT! I love their Smash Burger, and the atmosphere feels just like vacation. As a local tour guide in the RRG, I wouldn't recommend any other restaurant in the RRG over Toads.
